Good morning,

I am reaching out on behalf of EU funded POLIIICE project which aims to develop cutting-edge lawful interception (LI) measures including innovative tools to address the challenges of new communication technologies such as 5G, end-to-end encryption, and quantum-based encryption, These measures are designed to operate in full compliance with the highest possible EU standards for privacy, data protection, and ethics, ensuring a robust balance between security and fundamental rights (more information here: https://poliiice-project.eu/index.php/about/).

Within the project, we would also like to understand the opinions and views of non-governmental organizations (such as yours) that serve as watchdogs of digital rights and approach similar measures carefully to protect citizens rights. Therefore, I would like to invite a representative of your organization for an online semi-structured interview, focused on the current interception capabilities of Legal Enforcement Agencies and compliance of interception measures within the existing legal framework.

Please let me know if anyone from your organization could attend the interview and provide their insights. The interview will be online, and should not be longer than 30 minutes. Also, if you do know anyone who specializes in the topic within your network, please feel free to extend the invitation. Within the project, we focus on non-governmental organizations based in the EU and cover the topic of digital privacy.
